Forestry Personnel Rearrange Green Lane on Jalan Kebon Sirih

Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department deploys 18 personnel to improve green lane located on the roadside of Jalan Kebon Sirih, Menteng.

"It is quite messy before. Today we try to rearrange it and plant some decorative plants thus it looks beautiful again," said Sultoni, one of Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department personnel on the location, Monday (7/15).

Three Green Lanes in South Jakarta Beautified

He explained, his side brings 1,200 hanging lobster claw plants (heliconia rostrata) seeds, 2,000-3,000 lily seeds, and hundreds grass seeds from Srengseng, West Jakarta to be planted on the green lane.

"We are deployed to plant the seeds and take care of the plants. Hopefully it can grow well and people can take a part in caring this green lane," he expressed.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-department Head, Mila Ananda stated, this improvement is done to beautify the green lane on Jalan Kebon Sirih.

"In order to rearrange and improve the green lane, we use decorative plant seeds from Jakarta Forestry Department," he stated.
